The results are in! I am honored to be elected as the first female harbor commissioner. I look forward to working together with all commissioners to do good things for our Port and our community.

The Port of Hueneme is an incredible resource for the County. I firmly believe that the Port has the unique ability to generate new and increased opportunities for our local businesses through international trade. I am passionate about creating a more vibrant economy through maximizing the resources of our Harbor.
I will bring an energetic, creative leadership style to develop these opportunities by investigating business models that would increase exports, fully utilize the World Trade Center, and create new local job opportunities.
My goal is to improve Ventura County's economic competitiveness by promoting business growth through improved access to global markets and international trade. By accomplishing these, we can establish Ventura County as a nationally recognized innovator in global trade.
It would be my honor to serve as an active Harbor Commissioner and lead the District with this vision.

Mary Anne brings a strong and diverse business background to serve this office. She has experience as a small business owner, educator, and elected official.
Currently, she is a consultant for the Economic Development Collaborative, Ventura County as the Program Director for the Global Entrepreneur Training in Trade Program (G.E.T. Trade), which she designed and developed. This program provides international business training and consulting to businesses in the Central Coast.
